MOBILE, Ala. (AP) -- The second man accused of plotting to wage violent jihad overseas is expected to appear in federal court next week.

AL.com reports Mohammad Abdul Rahman Abukhdair is expected to appear in court Monday.

The man was arrested in Georgia at a bus station in December on his way to Atlanta.

Authorities have said Abukhdair and Randy Wilson were plotting to leave the country to join Islamic radicals fighting in North Africa.

Wilson in late December pleaded not guilty and is tentatively scheduled to go to trial in March.
