Aiken County narcotics raid lands 9 people in jail

AIKEN COUNTY, S.C. -- Nine people are in the Aiken County Jail after a narcotics raid this week.

The Aiken County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Unit and SWAT Team executed two search warrants in Shiloh Heights on Friday.

Investigators found a firearm, several grams of crack cocaine, marijuana, controlled prescription pills and more than $6,000.

The first place is a trailer in T&S Trailer Park and the other on 100 block of Hillview Circle.

Two children were found in the homes. The South Carolina Department of Social Services responded and placed the children with family members.

Nine people have been arrested:

Christine Brooks of Wagener, 55, is charged with one count of possession of crack cocaine.

Alonzo Strom of Aiken, 47, has an active warrant for probation and parole.

Steven Laboo of Aiken, 43, is charged with possession of crack cocaine (third offense).

Patricia Franklin of Aiken, 29, is charged with two counts of unlawful conduct toward a child.

Stacey Lamont Bing of Aiken, 39, is charged with possession of crack cocaine.

Steven Allen Harrah of Aiken, 55, is charged with possession of crack cocaine.

Charles Alexander Bush of Aiken, 37, is charged with possession of crack cocaine (third offense) and unlawful conduct toward a child.

Marsheral Lashawn Curry of Aiken, 35, is charged with possession of crack cocaine (second offense).

Pamela Thomas of Aiken, 44, has an active family court bench warrant and is charged with three counts of unlawful possession of prescription medicines.

More arrests are pending based on the investigation.
