BELVEDERE, S.C. -- Investigators are saying a weekend house fire in North Augusta is no longer suspicious.

The flames broke out Sunday afternoon on Palmetto Avenue off Belvedere-Clearwater Road.

Neighbors say the owners were out of town at the time of the fire.

Investigators say the fire started in the attic.

No official cause has been released at this time.
