GRANITEVILLE, S.C. -- The Aiken County Sheriff's Office is searching for a robber after an incident at a convenience store on Ascauga Lake Road.
The Sheriff's Office says the El Cheapo at the corner of Ascauga Lake Road and Ergle Street was robbed around 8:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
The victim says the robber entered the store, put down a wooden block to keep it open and pulled out a gun, demanding money from the cashier. The robber ran from the scene once he got the money.
Authorities are searching for a black male, 6'1'' with a Texas Longhorns shirt and black clothing.
