AIKEN COUNTY, S.C. (WRDW) -- Alleged shooting suspect 53-year-old David Glover has surrendered at the Aiken County Sheriff's Office.

Bloodhounds and deputies searched for the Glover after a shooting on Mae Acres Court Saturday night.

Investigators say Glover is wanted in connection to the shooting of Vernell Weaver.

Deputies say Weaver was shot in the neck and was transported to GRU. There is no word yet on her condition, but officials say she was speaking when she left the scene.

According to deputy reports, Weaver and Glover are involved in a romantic relationship, and the shooting happened during an argument between the couple.

The bloodhound search team was called out the scene last night around 8.
