COLUMBIA, S.C. (WRDW) -- An Aiken County school has been named as a finalist in the Palmetto's Finest Schools Awards.
Hammond Hill Elementary is in the running for first place in the awards administered by the South Carolina Association of School Administrators.
To apply for the award, each school had to submit a 20-page application and undergo an on-site visit. Finalists will have a second on-site visit.
The winner of the awards will find out on Monday, March 11, at 4 p.m. live on South Carolina ETV.
