AIKEN COUNTY, SC (WRDW) - Cold weather is prompting an additional delay for students, as school officials say some school buses won't start.
Parents county-wide received a robo-call from the Aiken County district explaining that some buses could be up to two hours behind schedule.
The district also reports some power outages, including at Aiken Middle and Jackson Middle School.
Officials say Jackson Middle has partial power and heat, and students have been relocated to parts of the school that remain heated.
Aiken Middle is experiencing "staggered" power.
According to BOE officials in Richmond County, only one bus failed to start in that district.
Meanwhile, Richmond County will remain on a 2 hour delay again tomorrow.
