AIKEN COUNTY, S.C. -- Aiken County Sheriff's deputies say 29-year-old Herman Colby Kidd has been arrested on forgery charges.
Deputies had looking to question him in connection to a Thursday shooting in Warrenville.
At this point, Kidd has not been charged with any crime related to the shooting and the investigation is still ongoing, according to investigators.
When deputies got to the scene Thursday morning, they found 28-year-old Ishmail Ameen Nurid Deen lying on the kitchen floor with three gunshot wounds.
While deputies were on the scene, they found cocaine inside the home and marijuana growing outside the property. Investigators seized approximately 6 pounds of marijuana, valued at $4,3000.
Deen has been charged with manufacturing marijuana. Naim Basheer Brown, 32, was charged with manufacturing marijuana and possession of cocaine. Charles Reginald Samuels, 58, was also charged with manufacturing marijuana.
Investigators say the motive for the shooting was a drug-related robbery.

WARRENVILLE, S.C. -- Aiken County deputies say a person is recovering in the hospital after being shot on Brown View Drive early Thursday morning.
Deputies say 28-year-old Ishmail Ameen Nurid Deen was found lying inside the home with three gunshot wounds.
They got the call at 4:56 a.m.
The shooting is still under investigation and authorities have identified a person of interest. They say this is a drug-related robbery.
