AIKEN COUNTY, S.C. (WRDW) -- Aiken County deputies are investigating a home invasion.
It happened on Red Tip Lane near Wire Road just after 8 a.m.
A gyro plane and the bloodhound team are looking for a suspect.
Capt. Troy Elwell with the Aiken County Sheriff's Office says the homeowner was returning from the store when she were approached by a man holding a knife.
The homeowner told deputies the man told her to get inside. She then said he took some of her personal items and told her to stay inside or he would kill her as he left.
Officers say the suspect then the suspect fled on foot.
He is being described as a black male wearing a black mask, baggy blue jeans and a dark sweatshirt. We're told he is about
5'5" and 200 pounds.
