AIKEN CTY., S.C. -- A tractor trailer and pickup truck collided in Aiken County and tied up traffic along I-20 westbound.
Dispatch says the accident involved a tractor trailer and a pick-up.
According to South Carolina Highway Patrol, Jeffery Barnhart was driving a red Dodge pickup when he hit the back of a tractor trailer. Barnhart had to be airlifted to MCG with serious injuries. The driver of the tractor trailer was not injured.
Barnhart is believed to be at fault, but Highway Patrol is still investigating. No charges have been issued at this time.
