You've probably heard of goat milk. But donkey milk? The beverage is getting more popular in Europe, especially with young kids who have allergies to other types of milk.

Doctors say donkey milk is very similar to human milk. It's low in fat and has a lot of vitamins.
It's also sweet, so kids are willing to give it a try.

A children's hospital in Italy stocks a lot of the milk, and nurses say it's working well for them.
More than 90 percent of children not only tolerated the milk, but they also thrived from it.

There is a pretty big downside. The milk is rare and costs 20 dollars a quart.
