Baby Matters LLC and the Conumser Product Safety Commission are recalling 30,000 Nap Nanny portable baby recliners, because of entrapment, suffocation and fall concerns.
The CPSC says it's looking into a case involving a 4-month-old girl from Royal Oak, Michigan who died in a Nap Nanny that was being used in a crib.
CPSC and Baby Matters say they've had 22 complaints of infants, most younger than 5-months hold hanging from the side of the Nap Nanny. The parents of most of the children said they used the harness that comes with the recliner.
The Nap Nanny was sold at children's stores from January 2009 until July 2010. They sold for about $130.
If you own one call the company to find out what you need to do with your Nap Nanny.
