ASU spreads word about Constitution Day

September 17, 2007

AUGUSTA, Ga.---This is the day the country celebrates Constitution Day. On this day in 1787, the US Constitution went into effect.

However, many people don't know much about September 17. That's why Augusta State University is having several events today, including a reading of the entire Constitution.

Today they handed out copies of the Constitution on campus. Later in the week, they're having a voter registration drive.
