Judge orders psychiatric exam for man arrested on Fort Gordon

AUGUSTA, Ga. (AP) -- A judge ordered a battery of psychiatric
tests for an ex-national guardsman charged with impersonating a
U.S. Army soldier at Fort Gordon after he convinced military
officials to hand him high-tech equipment.

U.S. Magistrate Judge Leon Barfield ordered the tests for
34-year-old Anthony Todd Saxon "to determine his sanity at the
time of the alleged offenses."

Saxon was arrested this month on the Army post after military
police found him with stun grenades, a land mine and a laser
targeting sight.

Authorities say he told his wife and family he worked at the
base and was to be deployed on a secretive mission to Iraq or
