MARTINEZ, Ga.---Lightning starts a fire at Ridge Crossing Apartments. It happened around 5:45 p.m. Friday.

The roof of one building is completely gone. People living in at least four units are now homeless.

Martinez-Columbia County Fire Department say everyone got out safely. We're told the Red Cross is supposed to come help those being displaced.
