Lots of pets adopted; more available

September 7, 2007

The Columbia County Animal Care and Control shelter tells News 12 all but four of the pets that they had available to be adopted have found new homes.

Earlier this week, we reported that the shelter was suffering from overcrowding.

Now that so many pets have been adopted, there is space to move more animals out of the quarantine area into the adoptable pet kennels.

The shelter asks that anyone who didn't find the pet they were looking for this week come out next week.
