Good news for taxpayers! The last $50,000 Linda Schrenko spent for services never delivered has been recovered by the state of Georgia.
The state sued CallingPost's Phil Alexander for the money she gave him for a calling system for the School for the Blind. The school says they never got it.
Alexander just finished paying off the state and is now working to pay off the $500,000 he and his company owe to another taxpayer-funded organization.
The SRS Community Re-Use Organization, formerly SRRDI, tells News 12 they also reached an agreement with Alexander to pay the half-million dollars he owes in installments.
So far he has paid back $33,000 of what he owes.
