There's a new legal challenge against South Carolina's video poker laws.

Today a divided federal appeals court reinstated a lawsuit challenging the state law banning video poker.

A three-judge panel of the 4th US Circuit Court of Appeals reversed a district court judge's ruling that Jimmy Martin's lawsuit did not belong in federal court.

Martin is the owner of a business called Lucky Strike, LLC.

South Carolina lawmakers amended the state's gambling laws in 1999 to ban video poker and allow police to seize the machines.

One would think that with the money problems all states are having.South Carolina,Georgia,North Carolina would allow the poker machines to be legal again? These states are passing up millions of dollars by keeping these machines out.Makes no sense at all
