MARTINEZ, Ga.---Columbia County investigators have a suspicious death on their hands.
44-year-old Donna Boyd was found dead in the swimming pool of her apartment complex this morning at around 8:30.
The sheriff's department is still investigating to figure out exactly what happened here.
A maintenance worker found Boyd's body in the pool as he was opening it for the day. Boyd, who lived in the complex with her family, was wearing pajamas.
The death is being called suspicious, but no foul play is suspected at this time.
An autopsy is scheduled for tomorrow to determine the cause of death.
There's no sign posted listing the pool hours, but people who live in the complex say when the pool's closed, the gate's locked with a deadbolt and you cannot get in.
