Aiken, SC--The investigation into the death of Christopher Jordan continues today. News 12 has learned at about 5:15 early Thursday morning, Christopher walked through these doors of the Palmetto Tavern on Whiskey Road in Aiken. He drove home with a person he was drinking with. It would be the last time he entered his home.
When Christopher got home, his older brother Roderick Folks questions why he was getting home late.
"He's like, don't worry about it bro. I'm ok. And then he left. I went to the room but came back, saw him put on his Kobe Bryant jersey."
That would be Folks last moment with his brother.
"When I saw him putting on his jersey, I went on back to the other room. That was the last time I'd seen him."
On the fateful morning, Jordan's girlfriend called Folks looking for Christopher. Then came a knock on their Mayfield home. It was a South Carolina Trooper.
"That's when he told me my brother had been in an accident and was at MCG," says Folks.
Right now, his family is trying to get through and wants to find out just one thing.
"It's an ongoing struggle. That's all I can say, it's an ongoing struggle. I just want to know who killed my brother and why?"
