A South Carolina soldier is among the latest casualties in Iraq. 28-year-old Zandra Walker from the Greenville area died Wednesday. She was one of two Fort Hood soldiers killed in Iraq last week.
A database compiled by the Associated Press shows Walker is the fourth South Carolina woman to die in the war.
Walker attended South Carolina State University in Orangeburg before joining the Army.
A funeral is planned for Friday.
