AUGUSTA, Ga.---A man who worked for the Medical College of Georgia for 20 years is dead after an apparent suicide jump.
40-year-old Keith Harris was pronounced dead this evening after he jumped from the four-story research building on Laney-Walker Boulevard.
MCG said tonight Harris worked in Facilities Management and was not on duty. The hospital said he had gone up on the roof with a friend. The friend became concerned and called 911.
Richmond County sheriff's deputies responded and reached the roof, but Harris jumped before they could talk with him.
