WAYNESBORO, Ga.---A man who spent years on death row is headed back to court for a third murder trial.
Willie Palmer goes on trial this week in Burke County for the 1995 killings of his wife and her daughter.
His first trial ended in a mistrial.
He was then convicted and sentenced to death, but the state Supreme Court ordered a new trial because one of the witnesses against him was paid to testify.
Jury selection starts this week in the new trial.
