Convicted murderer asks for death penalty

August 8, 2007

AIKEN, S.C.---The man who shot and killed three workers at the North Augusta Department of Social Services office says he wants to die.

David Mark Hill is already on death row. Today he told Judge Jack Early he wants to drop his appeals.

Judge Early ruled Hill could do that. The state will now set a date for his execution.

It's been almost eleven years since Hill killed James Riddle, Michael Gregory and Josie Curry. He was unhappy about a custody issue.
