They tell News 12 the accident is still under investigation, but they believe one car ran a stop sign at Jennings road and hit the other car.

AUGUSTA, Ga-- Three people are in the hospital after a serious car accident on Deans Bridge road. Deputies say it happened around 2 AM.

They tell News 12 the accident is still under investigation, but they believe one car ran a stop sign at Jennings road and hit the other car.

Deputies had to shut down all southbound lanes of Deans Bridge road while they cleared the accident.
