Driver killed by train in Waynesboro
A driver was killed attempting to cross the railroad tracks in Waynesboro early Sunday morning.

WAYNESBORO, Ga.--A driver was killed attempting to cross the railroad tracks in Waynesboro. The coroner tells News 12 it happened about 4:00 Sunday morning at the 8th street crossing.
The victim has been identified as 32-year-old Darren Jones. The coroner says Jones lived very close to the tracks and it appears he was trying to get around the crossing arm when the car was hit.
