AUGUSTA, Ga.---Some of the most talented kids in our area took to the stage Saturday. It's all part of Fort Discovery's Youth sonic showcase-- giving some local talent a chance to shine.
More than 25 different young artists and groups, anywhere from age 7 to early 20's came out for the event to show off their moves.
"I'm all about some live music, but I'm all about some kids and doing these things and staying busy because they could be doing a lot of other things. Music is great for young people I think and they are so talented," says Pam Teston, the Event Talent Coordinator.
Many of the young adults wrote their own songs. They say it's a great chance for exposure and a opportunity to have a good time.
