BATH---A man was hurt on the train tracks near Loop Drive in the Bath area this morning.

According to investigators, a male and female were sitting on the train tracks near Loop Drive alongside a motorcycle. An approaching train blew the horn to warn them to get off the tracks, which the female did.

The man, Taurus Oshields of Clearwater, attempted to remove the motorcycle from the tracks and in the process was struck. They are still attempting to determine if he was struck by the train or if the train hit the bike which then hit him.

Oshields was taken to an Augusta hospital with serious injuries to his head and legs. At last check he was in fair condition.

Norfolk Southern says it will file trespassing charges against the couple.
