AIKEN, S.C. --- Nobody's talking after a shooting early today in Aiken.

Police say they were alerted to the incident when two men came to the hospital, both suffering from gunshot wounds. Both claimed they were shot near a Waffle House.

The victims, 18-year-old De Lance Walton and 20-year-old De Lacy Walton, brothers from Augusta, both received serious injuries, according to Lt. David Turno.

Officers believe the shooting took place in the parking lot of the Waffle House in Aiken on Richland Avenue. Aiken Police had been dispatched to that location about 2:17 am in reference to a disturbance, and a short time later dispatched to the Aiken ER about the gunshot victims.

Officers say they attempted to interview over 20 witnesses, but all were uncooperative. If you have any information, call Aiken Public Safety at 803-642-7620, or Crimestoppers at 1-888-CRIME-SC. You can remain anonymous.
