Saluda woman killed, teen injured in Edgefield wreck

EDGEFIELD, S.C.---A Sunday afternoon car accident has killed one and injured another. The single car accident happened about 2:10 on Old Chappell Ferry Road north of Edgefield.

The coroner has identified the victim as 39-year old Cusonya Patterson, of Saluda. A 16-year old passenger was transported to the hospital, no word on her injuries.

This is the fifth fatal accident in Edgefield County this year.
