AUGUSTA, Ga.---Four people are recovering after someone opened fire. The shooting happened just before 10 Saturday night, at the Tuckmasters Upholstery on Milledgeville Road.

The owner says things started out as a friendly cook-out that turned into a crime scene. So far, investigators have not made an arrest, but the shooting has plenty of neighbors on edge.

It was supposed to be a Saturday night party, until shots rang out, hitting four people.

Angel Robinson spends a lot of time at her church, just a few doors down from where it all happened.

"The fact that it was steps away, that does concern me. We've been at this location seven or eight months and never heard of anything going on especially on this strip right," says Angel.

Angel says the church was surprised, and worried when they heard the news.

"We have a lot of young people that attend church here and kids who like to come out in in the parking lot. I want to make sure they're safe," adds Angel.

Investigators spent the night interviewing witnesses and trying to piece their stories together.

Demarcus Johnson says the police lights caught him off guard. "Only thing I know is I came down the road and there were a whole bunch of police cars over there at the shop," says Johnson.

He says Tuckmasters Upholstery is always a happening place.

"They doing good business over there. I think it's a tragedy, bad for the neighborhood but just something that happens," adds Johnson.

Angel says the crime will have her church family on alert.

"I know that we're here sometimes into the evenings having rehearsals, so I know we'll be a little more watchful. We just have to be careful, really just have to be careful," says Angel.

Investigators have not named a suspect. We're told at least one of the patients was in surgery on Sunday, and all are expected to be okay.
