18-wheeler flips over on I-20 EB near mm 15
The South Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating an accident on I-20 eastbound near mile marker 15. That's where a tractor trailer flipped over on its side. The driver has minor injuries.

AIKEN, SC-- The South Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating an accident on I-20 eastbound near mile marker 15. That's where a tractor trailer flipped over on its side. The driver has minor injuries.

The Aiken County Sheriff's Office tells News 12 they got the call around 4:10 am. They also say the truck is blocking both lanes and may stay on the road for the next 3 to 4 hours.

Traffic is at a standstill and is being rerouted at mile marker 11.

If you use I-20 eastbound for your morning commute, you should expect delays and be aware of the detour.
