Richmond County schools dress code changes

AUGUSTA, Ga. - The Richmond County Board of Education approved a new dress code for students in grades K-12. Students will not have to wear uniforms for the 2007-2008 school year. Even though students will be able to add their personal touches to their outfits, there are some rules that have to be followed.

Some of the dress code rules include: no hats or bandannas, no large belt buckles, no sunglasses (unless prescribed by a physician), and all shirts, blouses and T-shirts must be tucked in.
