RICHMOND COUNTY -- Richmond County investigators are looking for the suspect in a vehicular homicide.

On February 11th, Columbia County deputies were chasing a car being driven by James Richard Brantley. The chase ended when Brantley crashed into another car, injuring three people. On March 6th, one of those victims passed away from injuries sustained during the crash. The accident happened at the intersection of Wrightsboro Road and Heard Avenue.

Investigators were charging Brantley with 3 counts of aggravated assault and some traffic charges. Now, one of the aggravated assault charges has been upgraded to vehicular homicide in the first degree.

Investigators say Brantley is also involved in a forgery case in Richmond County and a burglary in Edgefield County.

If you know where James Brantley is, call the police.
