Traffic signal to be activated at 15th and Central
The traffic signal at the intersection of Fifteenth Street and Central Avenue has been scheduled for activation.

AUGUSTA, Ga. -- The traffic signal at the intersection of Fifteenth Street and Central Avenue has been scheduled for activation.

Beginning Friday, March 12 at 10:00 a.m. the signal will begin in flash mode. This means it will flash yellow for drivers on Fifteenth Street and it will flash red for those on Central Avenue.

On Tuesday, March 16 at 10:00 a.m., the signal will begin full operation (weather permitting).
