Overnight Accident at Race Track
An accident overnight in Jackson, South Carolina sends one man to the hospital.
Witnesses on the scene say he was thrown from a car.
It happened around midnight at 301 Dragstrip Road at the Race Track.
At this hour, there's no word on the severity of the victims injuries or the cause of that accident.

Attempted Robber Arrested
This morning, a man is in custody after deputies say he attempted to rob the Citgo Gas Station on Dragstrip and Atomic Roads overnight.
We're told a clerk in the back of the store saw him on surveillance video breaking the glass and called deputies.
They arrested him on site.

Robbery Suspect Sought
Police are looking for a robbery suspect from the Four Seasons Conveinence Store in Clearwater.
It happened around 9:30 Thursday night off Jefferson Davis Highway.
This same store has been held up almost a dozen times in the last five years.

Driver in Deadly Police Chase in Jail
A 22-year old Augusta man could be looking at prison time this morning.
William Brandon Taylor turned himself in Thursday after being released from the hospital.
He was the driver in a deadly police chase in North Augusta last month that ended in a wreck.
17 year-old Colby Plowden did in that accident.
Talor is charged with a felony DUI and failing to stop for the blue lights.

Tainted Chili Sauce Recall
Workers at the Augusta plant that made cans of hot dog chili suspected of containing botulism now say they had a production problem two months ago.
That's the same time the cans in question were produced.
A Castleberry's offical says cans were coming out of a heating and sterilizing process too hot before going into a cooling canal.
This morning, the recall includes ten ounce cans of Castleberry's, Austex and Kroger brands of hot dog chili sauce with "best by" dates from April 30 to May 22, 2009.
