North Augusta Police Swarm Apartment But Wanted Man is Gone

North Augusta, SC---More than a dozen officers today were called to the Chalet North apartment complex in North Augusta after they learned a wanted man barricaded himself inside with his mother.

It happened a parole violation. 51-year-old Milton Williams Junior was also charged for disorderly cjust after one p.m. on Chalet North Court off Five Notch Rd. It all started when a fight broke out at the apartment complex, when officers arrived they found 44-year-old Matthew Sanders with a cut on his head. He was later transported to Aiken Regional Hospital and arrested for onduct. While officers were making the arrests they received a tip 25-year-old Darrell Trotty also known as, Darrell Brown had ran inside apartment 149 with a woman who was later identified as Trotty's mother, Sharon armed with a weapon.

After cutting the power to the apartment and using gas to force Trotty out officers later realized he wasn't in the apartment. Trotty is wanted for an outstanding bench warrant for assault and batter with intent to kill. If you have any information you are asked to call North Augusta Public Safety.
