Club Could Close After Deadly Shooting

A nightclub where a shooting took place earlier this week may soon be closed.

Last night, the Augusta Commission voted to begin a process that could revoke the license of Club Super C.

City leaders want a recommendation from Sheriff Ronnie Strength. They also plan to meet with club owner, Charles Cummings.

Shooting Investigation Continues

Richmond County investigators need your help finding the man accused in the deadly shooting at Club Super C. They are looking for 18 year-old Darion McNair, who also goes by the names "Sparrow" and "Hoovie."

He's accused of killing 18 year-old Stedmund Fryer in the middle of the dance floor early Monday morning at Super C's.

Deputies are also looking for Jordash Tanksley. He is not a suspect in this investigation, but he is known to hang out with McNair.

Shooting Suspect Surrenders

A suspect in a shooting surrenders to deputies in in Aiken County.

Christopher Roper has been wanted since June 1st, but he turned himself in Monday. Deputies say he shot Carlos Allen outside a mobile home on Wadley Drive in Aiken.

Cook and Customers Catch Suspected Huddle House Robber

A robbery suspect is behind bars this morning in Aiken County, after picking the wrong Huddle House to mess with. 19 year-old Waitus Bedenbaugh, Jr. is charged with strong arm robbery.

The robbery happened at the Huddle House on Old 96 in Batesburg. A cook and two customers chased Bedenbaugh into the parking lot where they tackled him and got back every cent of the money he took.

Hit and Run Driver Sought

Richmond County deputies are looking for a hit and run driver involved in an accident on Bennock Mill Road shortly after 11 Tuesday night.

Deputies tell News 12 somebody hit a parked car and then drove away. The parked car rolled over into some trees.

No word on what kind of car the person was driving.

Missing Man Found

A local family is celebrating some really good news today. Carl "Red" Tompkins, the man who went missing on his trip from New Jersey back to Augusta, has been found.

He's been in a hospital near Baltimore for almost two weeks.
