AUGUSTA, Ga---One of Augusta's newest businesses is officially open.
Automatic Data Processing (ADP) held a grand opening at its new 50,000 square foot facility off Stevens Creek Road.

It is Leah Bunch's first day on the job, but she is not alone. Bunch is one of the company's new employees, hired to work in the new solutions center. She will spend the next twelve weeks in training.

"It's a lot to take in, but it is going to sink in," she says.

ADP senior vice president Steve Penrose gave News 12 an exclusive tour of the spacious three level building. He told us the building came out "better than we had hoped."

ADP will eventually employ one thousand people in our area. So far one hundred of those people have been hired.

The Fortune 300 company is largely known for processing payroll. But Penrose says many people don't know they do a lot of work with car dealerships.

"We help with every aspect of running a car dealership , from getting the car, managing inventory, servicing the car, and delivering the car," Penrose says.

So far, ADP has received more than one thousand applications. Sabrina Smith applied and got hired.

"They offer great benefits. They offer tuition reimbursement, so they have things i look for as i go on to a new job," she says.
