AUGUSTA--- Augusta commissioner Marion Williams does not have a copy of the city administrator’s computer hard drive, according to Richmond County Sheriff Ronnie Strength.
For weeks Williams claimed he had a copy of the hard drive from Fred Russell's computer, but he would never show it to anyone in public or say how he got the copy.
However Williams is now saying he didn’t have the hard drive now or in the past, according to Sheriff Strength’s news release. Richmond County has now closed the case on the hard drive investigation.
