Fourth of July Injuries From Fireworks And Grills
Doctors Hospital Burn Unit busy on the 4th of July
6 fireworks injuries were treated on the 4th of July, and 6 more calls about injuries came in. Also, 3 people were burned while they were grilling.

Augusta, GA---The Joseph M. Still Burn Center at Doctors Hospital says they've had a busy 4th of July. The center reports 6 patients came in to be treated by doctors at the burn unit because of fireworks injuries, and 6 more patients called in with injuries. Those other 6 will likely be treated tonight or Thursday morning.

Also, the burn unit reports 3 people came in with burns from either charcoal or gas grills.
