Last Day For Aiken Co. Superintendent
Aiken county's school system loses a longtime veteran today.
Dr. Linda Eldridge is stepping down as Superintendent.
Her contract runs out Sunday, so today is her last day at work.
Dr. Eldridge is retiring after a dozen years on the job.

Blood Drive Today
Organizers at the Shepeard Community Blood Center are thankful this morning for the 192 blood donations from Thursday.
This morning, however, they're hoping to see that number rise.
They'll be back out from 10 to 4 at the Roads and Bridges Department in Appling.

Last Movie Under the Stars Tonight
Tonight the Georgia Golf Hall of Fame will show its last "Movie Under the Stars".
You can watch the "The Wizard of Oz" when the sun goes down tonight.
Gates open at 6:30.
This is the last time you'll be able to enjoy this event because
the Georgia Golf Hall of Fame is set to close Saturday.

Concert Cancelled
The Yolanda Adams-Fred Hammond gospel concert has been canceled for this Saturday.
Organizers say ticket sales were too slow.
It was scheduled for Saturday night at the James Brown Arena.
If you have a ticket, you can get a refund at the place where you bought it.

Murder Suspect in Jail
A teenager is behind bars this morning, charged with murder, after officers find his girlfriend shot in the head.
It happened Thursday at the Cedarwood Apartments on Richmond Hill Road West.
Investigators say 18 year-old Jatavious Laron January shot and killed 18 year-old Samara Jones.
January turned himself into authorities 3 hours later.

Murder Suspect Sought
This morning, the Aiken County Sheriff's Office wants to find the suspect behind another shooting death.
Koran Sapp is wanted in connection to the shooting and murder 18 year old Najee Priester.
It happened in front of 9 shenandoah street -- sunday afternoon.
