Jerome was a brillant light to everyone he met and always willing to lend a hand. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. My prayers go out to his family and fellow officers. May your journey to the promise land be glorious. God has gained a true warrior in Jerome. I will see you again my friend, and your memory will leave on forever. God Bless his family and give strength to his fellow officers who must carry on the war Jerome so passionately fought.

I would like to take the time to send my sympathy and condolences to Jerome's family and friends. I worked with Jerome at the McDuffie County Sheriff's Office before transferring to Parole. He was a very pleasant person to be around always making you laugh. I remember going on several trips with Jerome to transport females and there was never a boring moment. He always had a positive attitide about things and let nothing get him down. He will be missed by many. My thoughts and prayers are with his family. May god bless each and everyone during your time of sorrow and may god give you comfort and strength in the days ahead.

I'm so sorry to hear about my dearest friend and law enforcement brother. I am the reason that Jerome enter into the law enforcement arena. I talked him into becoming a law enforcement officer years ago while riding him around in my patrol car in Warren County, Georgia. My condolences to his family.
