Carjacker Wanted

Richmond County investigators are hoping to put the brakes on one carjacker's spree.

Deputies are looking for Gary Lee Murphy.

He's a South Carolina sex offender wanted for stealing two cars from two women in Augusta.

Motorcycle Thieves Wanted

Two men are wanted for taking off with two motorcycles.

Matthew Evard and Jesse Petrosky are wanted for taking them from a home on Old Graniteville Road.

The motorcycles have been found.

Shooting Suspect Wanted

Investigators in Aiken County need your help finding a shooting suspect.

Deputies say Fernando Washington shot his girlfriend Brientley Bass in the foot because she was allegedly cheating on him.

It happened early Wednesday morning at the Clearwater Village Apartments.

Missing Money

A 20 million dollar question had James Brown's children back in court Wednesday, but the judge still doesn't have an answer.

He wants to know where the money went.

Judge Jack Early allowed the children's attorney to go to New York to talk to three witnesses.

He also decided to allow everyone to have access to all documents regarding Brown's estate dating back from 1999.

The next hearing is June 29th.

Spanish Program Back

Columbia County's Spanish program is back in the money, thanks to the county board of education.

Members decided to step in and save the Spanish program at Stevens Creek Elementary after Governor Perdue cut its funding. It's all part of a 166 million dollar budget for the next school year just approved Wednesday night.

Richmond's School Budget

School board members in Richmond County hope to finish their discussion about the budget for the next school year during a 4:00 meeting this afternoon.

After the budget review session, board members will hold their regular meeting.
