Funeral for Soldier Killed in Iraq Today
Funeral services will be held today for Sergeant First Class Robert Dunham.
They will be at Restoration Christian Ministries on Tobacco Road at 11:00.
Memorial services will also be held for Sergeant Dunham Wednesday at 10 am in Alexander Hall at Fort Gordon.
Sergeant Dunham was killed May 24th in Iraq.

Early Voting
A special election is next Tuesday, June 19th, but you can vote as early as today.
Voters will be choosing from candidates for the 10th Congressional District seat vacated by the late Charlie Norwood.
You can also cast a ballot for the 24th State Senate District seat.
If necessary, a run-off election will be held July 17th.

Deadly Acident
One man is dead this morning after an accident in Columbia County.
30 year-old Joseph Kelley was ejected from a Ford Escape early Sundaymorning on I-20 near mile marker 1-94.
Police s ay the driver, 35 year-old David Blackwell hit the back of a Jetta and rolled over.
Both he and the driver of the Jetta, 21 year-old Shatara Jones of Evans, are facing DUI charges.
Blackwell is also charged with vehicular homicide.

Man Drowns Avoiding Checkpoint
North Augusta Public Safety officers are waiting on toxicology reports this morning after finding a man drowned in a local pond.
24 year-old Clinton Guy was driving on Cherokee drive with his headlights off, when he veered off the road and into a pond.
Guy was allegedly trying to avoid a highway patrol license checkpoint.

Deadly Accident
A Georgia woman is dead after an accident in South Augusta.
45 year-old Robin Berry of Cochran, Georgia was killed at the intersection of Richmond Hill Road and Highway One.
