ALLENDALE COUNTY, S.C.---Three more men have been arrested in the December 5th murder at the Fairfax Motel in Allendale County.

Chief Marvin Williams of the Fairfax Police Department said at about 6 this evening, Fairfax Police, Allendale and Hampton Counties Sheriff's Deputies and SLED arrested 29-year-old Eric Christian Smart at a mobile home in Fairfax. He is charged with murder and criminal conspiracy to commit armed robbery.

Several days ago, two other men were arrested: 21-year-old Russell Smart and 28-year-old Stephen Smart. They were arrested separately on anonymous tips and are also both charged with murder and criminal conspiracy to commit armed robbery.

Chief Williams says Russell and Stephen Smart are brothers. Eric Smart is their first cousin.

The two women already arrested were denied bail,.

Chief Williams said they don't expect to make any more arrests in the murder, but are still looking into the case.
