AUGUSTA, Ga---Officials say over 1000 people lined up inside Augusta's Doubletree hotel Wednesday looking for an opportunity to work for T-mobile.
T-Mobile is bringing 750 new jobs to the Augusta area. Their new call center is set to open in October on Wheeler Road.
Tuesday's job fair was specifically designed to search for a group of fifty managers to run the call center. Those who attended the fair were able to look at job descriptions and were briefly interviewed by T-mobile officials.
T-Mobile's vice- president says they are looking for applicants with call center experience, but a college degree is not required.
The company plans to hold another job fair to hire other call center employees.
