Williams requests city administrator's hard drive

May 2, 2007

AUGUSTA, Ga.---Augusta Commissioner Marion Williams is requesting to see the hard drive of city administrator Fred Russell's work computer, along with those of three other city employees.

Williams made the request to the city's IT director. He says he doesn't need full Commission approval to make that request.

Things got heated yesterday when the Commission voted to reprimand Calvin Holland for requesting to see Russell's hard drive.
