Special election set to fill Georgia Senate and House seats
The date for a special election to fill the State Senate District 22 seat and the House District 122 seat has been set for January 5, 2010.

AUGUSTA---The date for a special election to fill the State Senate District 22 seat and the House District 122 seat has been set for January 5, 2010.
Former Senator Ed Tarver left his seat after being confirmed as US Attorney for the Southern District of Georgia.
Hardie Davis announced he will be giving up his seat to run for Ed Tarver's seat in the senate.
The voter registration deadline for the special election is December 4th.
