Aiken County Deputies are still trying to track down the gunman who pulled the trigger over the weekend.
Investigators say it happened just before 1 am on Sunday morning at 563 Amos Court in North Augusta.
Right now the sheriffs' office is not releasing the name of the victim, but friends tell News 12 the victim was at a neighbor’s home on Friday and Saturday night. He was arguing with someone at the home the night he was shot in the head.
Witnesses say narcotics were found on the scene. One woman, who did not want to be identified, tells us she called 911 after she saw her friend lying on the living room floor.
“They told me they'd been wrestling. They were fighting over a woman. I saw him laying there with a gunshot to the head.”
And deputies need your help finding the shooter. He's described as a Hispanic male, five feet ten inches tall, weighing about 220 to 230 pounds. He has black hair, brown eyes and he was last seen wearing white rattlesnake cowboy boots.
